It's summer and it's hot outside!
Ultimately that means that we as dog owners spend less time outside with our dogs, which also means they usually get less exercise and enrichment.
To make sure your dog doesn't get bored over summer, you can visit indoor dog parks for example or visit Aria & Bianca in JLT which is a bubble tea cafe that also has an off-leash area for dogs where they can play.
Another great way to keep your dog stimulated, is getting enrichment toys.
There are many shops where you can find enrichment toys, but since its Prime Day today and tomorrow at Amazon, I'd like to show you below a few toys that you can easily order from the convenience of your couch.
Or you can find our whole wish list here.
Dog Puzzles
If you are ready to challenge your dog, then puzzles are the way to go. But more often than not, you'll have to assist your dog.
Start with an easy one and don't expect your dog to understand what to do right away.
An easy puzzle like the one below will stimulate your dog while eating food or treats and make it easy to navigate with the tongue and nose.
If you're interested to try it, then you can buy it here
Once your dog is used to using his tongue and nose, it's ready to take it to the next step. The below puzzle which you can find here is slightly more advanced.
Is your dog ready to for a really difficult puzzle? Then this one will challenge your dogs brain for sure!
Snuffle Mats
Snuffle mats are a great way to keep your dog entertained and they're easy to use. Just hide a few small treats in your snuffle mat and let the fun begin.
You can start with an easy one or go for a more advanced one. Unlike puzzles, you don't necessarily need to start with a less complicated snuffle mat and then build it up. Dogs usually are able to figure out the snuffle matts by themselves.
Still want to start with an easy one? Try the one below. My dog Boefje has it as well and its great entertainment for her when she gets her treat after a walk.
You can find the mat here
Ready for something more advanced? Then why not try this one:
Other Enrichment Toys
Although there are so many enrichment toys you can choose from, below you can find a few of my favorites that Boefje enjoys a lot as well.
One of her favorite toys is this squirrel toy puzzle, where you can find 3 cute little squirrels in a tree truck tower. Hide your treats inside and let your dog use all his/her skills to get the treats out.
Looking for something a little less complicated? This snuffle ball is a lot of fun.
Or try this snuffle ball where you can roll in the treats to make it just a little bit more difficult for your dog to find it.
More layers, means more fun. this cute little turtle has several layers where you can hide the treats.
And last but not least, this carrot puzzle is an easy and fun toy that will take away all the boredom this summer.
As you can see there are many options to keep your dog entertained during the hot summer months.
If you're looking for the whole list of nice enrichment toys, then you can find them all here.
I can say with full confidence that today we cannot do without news, because only through news can we learn about current events. That's why I use a high-quality news portal mahmo.org, which helps me keep up with all the events and helps me stay in the information space around the clock. Recently, thanks to it, I learned about a prominent Ukrainian figure Max Krippa https://mahmo.org/tag/max-krippa/, who is actively involved in the development of the Ukrainian esports sector and is also known as an investor in Ukrainian technology companies. Krippa has recently purchased the Parus business center in the heart of the capital, which demonstrates his active position and also demonstrates his professional skills, as he goes beyond the usual…
